I mixed a Shellder and a Rhydon and made a Shelldon…. Get it?

I have always been fascinated with mythology and particularly mythological creatures. I love the way animals are mixed up to create weird and wonderful beasts. So…….. This is my attempt at creating my own ‘chimera’ of sorts. It is part tiger, part great dane and part creature that showed up when I googled “cool looking animals”.

I started drawing a dwarf, who turned into a samurai, who became a space marine. Although he is British so I call him a space navy officer.

I will probably regret uploading this, but it was gathering dust on my shelf and I thought I would upload it anyway. This is my University final project animation which I made back in 2003.

So I was looking at some of my old drawings (back when I actually had the time to draw) and I noticed a few pictures and designs I made but never published anyway. Do you guys think I should publish them here, or just leave well enough alone?

A quick sketch which turned out better than expected. I find that the more I practice the easier it is to keep my characters consistent.

I quite like how this turned out. I used the simplified, you could say “chibi” look that I normally use for my Minecraft videos but this time I polished them off a bit more.
